About FeedNest

Who builds FeedNest, why it exists, and how to reach us.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

FeedNest is an intelligent news ecosystem for focused minds and strategic leaders. It combines a modern RSS reader with Ned, an AI assistant that curates sources, summarises articles, translates them, and turns them into audio. We build for focus, clarity, and privacy in an age of algorithmic noise.

What We Build

FeedNest brings everything you read into one calm, private place. You subscribe to RSS feeds, YouTube channels, Google News topics, and podcasts, then read, listen, highlight, and annotate without an algorithm deciding what deserves your attention.

Ned, our AI assistant, is the part that makes it an ecosystem rather than a reader. Describe your interests and Ned assembles a curated feed for you. Ask for a briefing and it synthesises what happened across your sources overnight. Every AI feature works on the sources you chose, never the open web.

  • Universal reading: RSS feeds, YouTube, Google News, podcasts, PDFs, and EPUBs
  • Ned AI: Magic Feed curation, summaries, translation, and smart tagging
  • Audio: text-to-speech for any article, with playlists for listening on the go
  • Annotations: highlights and personal notes that stay with the article
  • Analytics: reading goals, streaks, and per-feed insights
  • Output feeds: publish any folder or tag as a public RSS feed

Why We Build It

Most news products are designed to capture attention and sell it on. That business model decides what you see, and it rewards outrage over understanding. We think the people who most need reliable information, researchers, founders, analysts, and anyone making decisions, are the worst served by it.

FeedNest is funded by subscriptions, not advertising. We do not sell your data, we do not profile your reading habits for third parties, and there are no ads in the product. Because nobody pays us to change what you see, we do not have to.

Built For Agents, Not Just People

We believe the age of apps is ending, and that most services will eventually be reached through an AI rather than a tab. FeedNest is built that way from the ground up: every capability in the interface is also available to software.

  • MCP server at mcp.feednest.com for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client
  • Public REST API v1 documented by an OpenAPI 3.1 specification at /openapi.json
  • TypeScript SDK (@feednest/sdk) for Node.js, Deno, and browsers
  • Machine-readable pages: append ?view=machine to any public page, or send Accept: text/markdown

API access is self-serve. Create a Pro account, generate a scoped API key in Settings, and start making requests. There is no sales call and no waiting list.

Who We Are

FeedNest is built by Luca Iaconelli, an independent software developer based in Italy. It is an independently funded product with no outside investors, which is why the roadmap follows what subscribers ask for rather than what a growth target requires.

The product is under active development, and every change ships to a public changelog at feednest.com/changelog.
